Françoise Villibord was raised on the Brittany peninsula. She was educated in Law, a career field she pursued with her husband Jack Pointeau. Living in Châteaugiron, Brittany, she and Jack worked together while raising four children. Françoise developed an appreciation for art at a young age. She drew and painted constantly as a child and young woman traveling throughout France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy and North Africa. Her self-taught early work shows her unusual talent for still life portraits and the ability to communicate to the viewer a beautiful and authentic image of different cultures and eclectic street and harbor scenes.
